Open system
Facility Explorer FX is built on open protocols — BACnet, LON, N2, Modbus — with Tridium Niagara compatibility. Equipment from any manufacturer can be integrated into a single supervisory layer. Building owners are not locked into a proprietary stack or a single integrator for the life of the asset.
Legacy controllers and third-party sub-systems can be brought into the same pane of glass, which is critical for retrofit work. As new load types come online, they extend the BMS instead of sitting parallel to it.
